Motel Policies

Reservations & Deposits

For a one-night reservation, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

For reservations of two nights or more, a 50% deposit is required to secure the reservation.

Reservations and deposits are non-transferable.

Rates are based on the occupancy stated at the time of booking. Additional occupants, where permitted within the maximum occupancy of the room, will be charged $15 per person, per night.

All reservations are subject to confirmation and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If Heart of Wildwood is notified of a cancellation at least 21 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, 75% of the deposit will be refunded.

Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.

Deposits are non-transferable.

There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, weather conditions or unused portions of a reservation.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.

Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed and must be approved by management. Additional fees may apply.

Guests who fail to vacate their room by the required check-out time without prior authorization may be charged additional room rent.

Age Requirement

The registered guest must be 25 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or otherwise approved by management.

Valid government-issued photo identification may be required at check-in.

Smoking

All guest rooms are 100% smoke-free.

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Guests are responsible for following all posted smoking restrictions.

Pets

Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Violation of the no-pet policy is subject to a $250 charge, in addition to applicable cleaning or damage charges.

Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.

Parking

Off-street parking is provided for one vehicle per unit, with two vehicles permitted for designated units E2, G, K and L.

Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas.

Pool Rules

For the health and safety of our guests, children who are not fully potty trained must wear an appropriate swim diaper while using the pool.

All persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult while using the pool or pool area.

All guests must comply with posted pool rules, hours and safety requirements.

Family Resort & Guest Conduct

Heart of Wildwood is a family resort. Guests are expected to behave in a manner that respects the safety, comfort and enjoyment of others.

Disorderly or disruptive behavior, harassment, excessive profanity, excessive noise, loud music, threatening conduct, or other behavior that substantially interferes with the safety, comfort or enjoyment of other guests will not be tolerated.

Management reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to require guests to leave the property for serious or repeated violations of hotel policies or applicable local, county, state or federal law.

Guests required to leave because of such violations will not receive a refund for the unused portion of their stay, to the extent permitted by law.

Room Damage & Guest Responsibility

The registered guest is responsible for applicable room charges and for damage, missing property or excessive cleaning resulting from the actions of the registered guest or anyone in their party.

The payment method on file may be charged for documented amounts owed under the reservation and these policies, as permitted by applicable law.

Amenities

Pools, rooftop areas and all other hotel amenities are subject to availability and may be affected by weather, maintenance, repairs, safety requirements or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Heart of Wildwood.

Temporary closure or unavailability of an amenity does not automatically entitle a guest to a refund.

Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

Guests must comply with Heart of Wildwood policies and all applicable local, county, state and federal laws and regulations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising from a stay at Heart of Wildwood shall be governed by New Jersey law and brought before an appropriate court having jurisdiction in Cape May County, New Jersey.
